Marketing and Communications Committee

Marketing and Communications:

Chair: Curi Ahrens

Sets goals and executes straegy for GMEF communications to key stakeholders; centralizes email distribution  lists (teachers, parents, corporate sponsors, volunteers), developes and distributes content for monthly newsletters

Needs assistancve with:

  • Design and maintain GMEF bulletin board
  • Maintain GMEF website
  • Oversee GMEF socail media presence
  • Survey/assess/report GMEF efforts to key stakeholders
  • Creates/ update logos
  • Drafts Annual Campaign Letters anbd other hard copy materials
  • Identifies, secures, and houses promotional products (e.g. magnets, banners)

 

Marketing and Communications Committee  (All year long)

  • Marketing & Communications Chair -Set goals and execute strategy for all GMEF communications to parent and teacher/staff community. Craft creative content for Annual Fund Campaign and all fundraising activities. Manage all aspects of the monthly online newsletter
  • Newsletter Editor/Constant Contact Director-Work closely with the Marketing & Communications Chair on the monthly online newsletter and help manage our email database
  • Judi Scarmuzzi  Website Director- Manages and updates all content on the Garrison Mill Foundation’s web site.
  • Jaime Turner  Social Media Director-Create and update all social media communications to parents and staff
  • Susan Parker & Karen Galvin   Class Liaison Team Leader- Recruit and coordinate efforts of The GMEF Parent Council, made up of Liaisons from each classroom. These liaisons will be an advocate in the classroom regarding Foundation programs and news throughout the year. One volunteer per classroom
  • Greg Billups Neighborhood Meetings Leader -Recruit a lead from each neighborhood with 10 or more GM families to host informal meetings at neighborhood clubhouses to get GMEF message out to more parents and promote Annual Fund. Meetings to be held week before school starts in fall
