Science Lab

Science Lab Instructor

Sabra McGinnis is originally from Michigan but is an “unofficial southerner” after living in Georgia for the past 11 years. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders from Central Michigan University and GA certification K-5 in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University. Sabra has taught Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st grade and is excited to be the Science Lab teacher at Garrison Mill this year.  She plans to focus on giving students an opportunity to investigate, explore, discover, problem solve and use a hands-on approach in the lab. Sabra is happily married with a son and daughter (who are both GM students!) as well as a dog and a cat.  She is also passionate about the environment, recycling and nature.
